Newport Merchants Committee

Newport’s businesses are essential to our vibrant community. Many of our business owners are NRPS members and several serve on the Board of Directors. Understanding the value of a vibrant small business community, NRPS formed a committee dedicated to working with the Newport business community to promote events that encourage people from all over the area to come to Newport to shop local. Most recently, events such as Newport in Bloom, Block Party, Black Friday Shop Local, and Ladies Night Out events were held to attract shoppers and diners to Newport. Throughout the year, events are planned with the specific purpose of promoting all that Newport has to offer.
