National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Newport will be one of an estimated 17,000 communities across the country celebrating National Night Out.

National Night Out Newport will feature our law enforcement partners from the Pennsylvania State Police, County Sheriff’s Office, Game Commission, State Park, constables, and others. Area first responders including fire, ambulance and paramedic units will attend to provide important emergency preparedness information. Perry County Emergency Management and 911 center personnel will also be on site. In addition to our first responders, human service organizations, civic groups and others who share NRPS vision of a vibrant community will be on hand to provide helpful information to our residents.

Food trucks and entertainment will be on site.
